# Gigantamax Pokémon List: All 34 Forms and Their G-Max Moves

Gigantamax is a special kind of Dynamax from Pokémon Sword and Shield (Generation 8), and 32 species can do it. The pokee.si list has 34 entries because both Toxtricity forms are shown, and Urshifu has two Gigantamax forms.

A Gigantamax Pokémon changes its look and gets a G-Max Move. It has appeared in only one core series game, Sword and Shield, plus spin-offs such as Pokémon GO. Scarlet and Violet don't have it.

## All Gigantamax forms

The table is in Pokédex order. "Gen" is the generation of the Pokémon itself. "Arrived" shows whether the form came with Sword and Shield or with the Isle of Armor DLC. Heights are given in the games with a "+".

## The six Isle of Armor additions

Seven rows say Isle of Armor, but they cover six species. [Venusaur](https://pokee.si/pokemon/venusaur), [Blastoise](https://pokee.si/pokemon/blastoise), [Rillaboom](https://pokee.si/pokemon/rillaboom), [Cinderace](https://pokee.si/pokemon/cinderace), [Inteleon](https://pokee.si/pokemon/inteleon) and [Urshifu](https://pokee.si/pokemon/urshifu) got their Gigantamax forms with The Isle of Armor. Urshifu has two: G-Max One Blow for the Single Strike Style and G-Max Rapid Flow for Rapid Strike.

Toxtricity is the other odd case. Its Amped and Low Key forms share one Gigantamax form and one move, G-Max Stun Shock.

## What Gigantamax changes

Gigantamax only changes HP (by Dynamax Level) and turns moves of one type into the G-Max Move. Other stats and the Ability stay the same. The rules are on the [Dynamax and Gigantamax guide](https://pokee.si/guide/mechanics/dynamax-gigantamax). For example, Gigantamax Snorlax's Normal-type moves become G-Max Replenish instead of the usual [Max Strike](https://pokee.si/moves/max-strike).

The Pokédex gives Gigantamax weights as "???.? kg", so they are left out of the [heaviest and lightest Pokémon](https://pokee.si/articles/heaviest-and-lightest-pokemon) lists.

## How to get the Gigantamax Factor

Only individuals with the Gigantamax Factor can Gigantamax. In Sword and Shield, wild ones are caught only in Max Raid Battles.

Max Soup, from The Isle of Armor and made with three bundles of Max Mushrooms, gives the Gigantamax Factor to any Pokémon with a Gigantamax form except Melmetal. Drinking it again removes the Factor. Urshifu also needs Max Honey. The Factor can't be passed on by breeding.

Pikachu, Meowth and Eevee with the Gigantamax Factor can't evolve.

## Tallest Gigantamax forms

Gigantamax Centiskorch is the tallest at 75+ m. Next come Gigantamax Duraludon (43+ m), Gigantamax Coalossal (42+ m), Gigantamax Inteleon (40+ m) and Gigantamax Snorlax (35+ m).

Eternamax Eternatus is taller at 100 m and has a base stat total of 1,125, but it is a different form that appears in a single story battle and can't be used by players.

## Gigantamax and Mega Evolution

Both change a Pokémon for a battle, but they work differently. A Mega Evolution changes stats, and sometimes type and Ability. Gigantamax mainly changes HP and the move. See every Mega form in the [Mega Evolution list](https://pokee.si/articles/mega-evolution-list), or learn why forms don't add to the species total in [How many Pokémon are there?](https://pokee.si/articles/how-many-pokemon-are-there).
