Pawmo

Pawmo is a Electric/Fighting-type Pokémon, the Mouse Pokémon, number 922 (#0922) in the National Pokédex. It was introduced in Generation 9 and comes from the Paldea region. It is 0.4 m tall and weighs 6.5 kg.

Lore
Biology
Pawmo is a stout, upright rodent, 0.4 m tall and 6.5 kg. Its fur is a lighter orange than Pawmi's, with tan paws, snout and a long fluffy tail, green inner ears and electric sacs on its yellow cheeks. Its five-fingered forepaws stretch down to its tiny feet, and the yellow pads on them turn teal-blue when it releases electricity.
Behaviour
Pawmo travels in groups, and the Scarlet Pokédex says it is the first to fight back when its group is attacked. Bulbapedia, citing Pokémon Sleep, says it sometimes holds its battle stance while asleep, perhaps dreaming about training its moves.
Habitat
The Pokédex gives no habitat. In Scarlet and Violet it is found in all four of Paldea's provinces and in 3-star Tera Raid Battles.
Powers
Its Abilities are Volt Absorb and Natural Cure, with Iron Fist hidden. It learns Arm Thrust on evolving, which hits 2 to 5 times in one turn, and adds Discharge at level 42 and Wild Charge at 52. Base Speed 85 and Attack 75 make it a quick, light hitter.
Name origin
Pawmo may blend Pawmi with 'marmot' and 'dynamo'. The Japanese name is Pamot (パモット), possibly Pamo plus 'marmot'.
Design inspiration
A marmot appears to be the model for Pawmo. Bulbapedia suggests its Fighting type and Arm Thrust may be a grim reference to the injuries that CPR can cause. This is a fan reading.
Evolution notes
Pawmo evolves from Pawmi at level 18. Bulbapedia thinks the walking requirement for its own evolution may allude to Pikachu, who stays outside his Poké Ball in the anime.
In the games
Pawmo is the middle stage of the Pawmi line, which first appeared in Scarlet and Violet. It is not available in Legends: Z-A.
In the anime
Nemona's Pawmo debuted in the Pokémon Horizons episode 'Nemona and Brassius and…'.
