Pokémon, Super Intelligence

The SI in pokee.si stands for Super Intelligence. It is our promise: one place that knows everything about every Pokémon, gets it right, and explains it well.

A dad and his Pokémon-obsessed 12-year-old

We are a dad and his 12-year-old son. He knows more about Pokémon than anyone we have met, and he trains in karate too, which is why the site has a dojo. Dad builds. Son tests everything and tells him, kindly, what is wrong with it.

2 of us, a dad and his son
1,025 Pokémon, every one covered
0 trackers

Why we built it

Whenever we looked something up, the answer was spread over five sites, buried under adverts, or slightly wrong. We wanted one place with everything about every Pokémon: accurate and beautiful. So we built it.

Open data, careful research, honest tools

Open data. Stats, moves, abilities and forms come from PokéAPI.
Deep research. Every Pokémon is researched in depth, then written up in our own words.
Every fact checked. Each written fact is checked independently against other sources.
Modern web tech. A fast, installable site for phone, tablet and big screen.

We built pokee.si with AI tools, under our direction. We decide what goes in, and we check it.

What we will not change

The Pokédex stays open to everyone
No tracking
Accuracy first
Kid-safe

Stops along the route

October 2026: a 12-year-old’s wish list
The full Pokédex
Games, the Karate Dojo and belts
Lore for every Pokémon
The encyclopedia
Now: scenery and the trailer
Next: voice, more games, your ideas

Standing on good shoulders

PokéAPI for open data, sprites and cries. Bulbapedia and Serebii as research sources we cross-check. Chakra Petch and Inter fonts (SIL Open Font Licence).
