Wormadam

Wormadam is a Bug/Grass-type Pokémon, the Bagworm Pokémon, number 413 (#0413) in the National Pokédex. It was introduced in Generation 4 and comes from the Sinnoh region. It is 0.5 m tall and weighs 6.5 kg.
Wormadam is a bagworm that has fused with its cloak, and the cloak decides its type: leaves and flowers make it Bug and Grass, sand and rock make it Bug and Ground, and scraps of pink insulation make it Bug and Steel.

Lore
Biology
Wormadam is a black Pokémon that resembles a bagworm, with oval eyes, a pointed beak and a long antenna that curls at the tip. It is 0.5 m tall and weighs 6.5 kg in every cloak. Unlike Burmy's, its cloak is part of its body: the Pokédex says it joins Wormadam when it evolves and is never shed, and Bulbapedia suspects the energy of evolution causes the fusion. All Wormadam are female.
Behaviour
Wormadam relies on its cloak. Bulbapedia says a Sandy Cloak Wormadam can shrug off a Starly's pecking with ease, while the Trash Cloak helps its wearer hide from predators.
Habitat
The Pokédex gives no habitat. In Legends: Arceus the Plant Cloak is found in the Obsidian Fieldlands, the Sandy Cloak in the Crimson Mirelands and Coronet Highlands, and the Trash Cloak in the Cobalt Coastlands and Alabaster Icelands. It is not available in Scarlet and Violet.
Powers
Plant Cloak is Bug and Grass with 105 base Special Defense, Sandy Cloak is Bug and Ground with 105 Defense, and Trash Cloak is Bug and Steel with 95 in both defences. All have Anticipation, with Overcoat hidden, and learn Quiver Dance as they evolve. Each also has its own late move: Leaf Storm, Fissure or Iron Head.
Name origin
Wormadam may combine 'bagworm' and 'madam'. The Japanese name is Minomadam (ミノマダム), from 蓑虫 minomushi ('bagworm') and 'madam'.
Design inspiration
Wormadam appears to be the grown-up female of a bag moth, a kind that usually never develops wings. Bulbapedia also suggests it may draw on Baba Yaga, whose flying mortar and pestle echo its antenna and bag. These are fan readings.
Evolution notes
Wormadam evolves from a female Burmy at level 20 and keeps its cloak for life; unlike Burmy, it cannot change it.
In the games
Wormadam, one of Burmy's two final forms, was introduced in Diamond and Pearl. All three cloaks can be found in Legends: Arceus, and it is not available in Legends: Z-A.
In the anime
All three cloaks debuted in 'Some Enchanted Sweetening!' as Cheryl's Wormadam, which she showed Ash and his friends to explain she was still searching for a male Burmy. In 'Another One Gabites the Dust!', Ursula's Sandy Cloak Wormadam performed in a Contest.
