Dual types and 4× damage
How two types multiply: 4× weaknesses, ¼× resistances and immunities that cancel everything. Build typings yourself.
Two types, one Pokémon
Lots of Pokémon have two types. Dragonite is Dragon and Flying.
When a move hits a dual-type Pokémon, take the multiplier against each type and multiply them together.
Ice is super effective against Dragon (2×) and against Flying (2×). So an Ice move hits Dragonite for 2 × 2 = 4×. That is a double weakness.
