Duskull

Duskull is a Ghost-type Pokémon, the Requiem Pokémon, number 355 (#0355) in the National Pokédex. It was introduced in Generation 3 and comes from the Hoenn region. It is 0.8 m tall and weighs 15 kg.
Duskull is the Requiem Pokémon, a small cloaked ghost whose glare from a single red eye, the Pokédex says, freezes even burly grown-ups in fear. It doubles as a warning that parents give to misbehaving children.

Lore
Biology
Duskull is a black, robe-like ghost, 0.8 m tall and 15 kg, with a skull-like mask, two bone-like patterns on its back and one red eye hovering between the eye sockets. The Pokédex says it can turn invisible and slip through very thick walls.
Behaviour
Duskull is nocturnal and wanders the deep dark of midnight. The Pokédex says that once it picks a target it follows them doggedly until the break of dawn, then abandons the chase. Another entry says it enjoys hearing children cry and startles badly behaved ones into tears.
Habitat
The Pokédex habitat is forest, and Bulbapedia adds mountainous regions. In Scarlet and Violet it is wild only in Kitakami, in The Teal Mask; it is not available in Legends: Z-A.
Diet
Scarlet's Pokédex calls the vital energy of children its favourite food.
Powers
Its Ability is Levitate, which evades Ground moves, with Frisk, which reveals a foe's held item, hidden. It learns Shadow Sneak, Will-O-Wisp, Hex and Shadow Ball, then Future Sight at level 44. With 90 each in Defense and Special Defense but a Speed of only 25, it is slow and easily worn down, a disruptor rather than a hitter.
Name origin
Duskull may combine 'dusk' and 'skull'. The Japanese name is Yomawaru (ヨマワル), which may blend yōma (ghost), waru (something bad) and yomawari (a night watch).
Design inspiration
Duskull may be a hitodama, a Japanese spirit fireball, and its single eye is common among yokai. The skull mask and dark robe could point to the Grim Reaper, and its spiriting away naughty children recalls bogeymen such as Japan's Namahage. These are fan readings.
Evolution notes
Duskull evolves into Dusclops at level 37.
In the games
Duskull runs the Duskull Bank in Treasure Town in Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness, and it debuted in Ruby and Sapphire. In Legends: Arceus it lives in Hisui's Cobalt Coastlands, Coronet Highlands and Alabaster Icelands.
In the anime
Duskull debuted in the short Camp Pikachu, scaring the Pichu Brothers. Its first television appearance was in 'Get the Show on the Road!', where it popped up in front of May and scared her.
