Impidimp

Impidimp is a Dark/Fairy-type Pokémon, the Wily Pokémon, number 859 (#0859) in the National Pokédex. It was introduced in Generation 8 and comes from the Galar region. It is 0.4 m tall and weighs 5.5 kg.
Impidimp is the Wily Pokémon, a pint-sized Dark and Fairy prankster that sneaks into homes, steals things and sucks up the anger it causes through its nose. If nobody is annoyed with it, it gets irritable itself.

Lore
Biology
Impidimp is small and fuchsia, 0.4 m tall and 5.5 kg, with a big head, wiry limbs, a purple mask-like pattern, pointed ears and a long single-nostril nose. Its fanged mouth usually shows a purple tongue, and a tuft at the back of its head looks like a bat wing. It and its evolutions are male only.
Behaviour
The Pokédex says Impidimp sneaks into homes to steal things and feeds on the negative energy of frustrated occupants, sucking it in through its nose. It gets irritable when it cannot absorb any. The Violet entry says they live in groups, teasing and pranking one another to sharpen their mischief.
Habitat
The Pokédex gives no habitat. In Scarlet and Violet it lives in Paldea's Tagtree Thicket and in Kitakami's Wilds and Timeless Woods.
Powers
Its Abilities are Prankster, which raises the priority of non-damaging moves, and Frisk, with Pickpocket hidden. It starts with Fake Out and Confide and later learns Flatter, Swagger, Torment, Dark Pulse and Play Rough. Bulbapedia calls Confide, which lowers the target's Special Attack, its signature move in Generation IX. At 265 stats in total it is fragile, and a Prankster Fake Out is its best trick.
Name origin
Impidimp may blend 'imp' with 'impede' or 'impudent', and perhaps 'dimple' or the British dialect word 'dimpsey' for dusk. The Japanese name is Beroba (ベロバー), possibly from bero ('tongue') and beroberobā ('peekaboo').
Design inspiration
Impidimp appears to draw on mischievous European folk creatures such as imps, goblins, gremlins and boggarts, and Bulbapedia suggests it may nod to the Lincoln Imp, the grotesque statue in Lincoln Cathedral. Its bat-wing hair, pointed ears and red skin patches may also echo the pop culture 'little devil'. These are fan readings, and no designer is credited.
Evolution notes
Impidimp evolves into Morgrem at level 32.
In the games
Impidimp roams the Wild Area, including Glimwood Tangle, in Sword and Shield, where it debuted. Bulbapedia lists it as unobtainable in Legends: Z-A.
In the anime
Three Impidimp appear in 'The Tale of You and Glimwood Tangle!', stealing Chloe's backpack and pelting her and her Eevee with Berries before returning the bag and helping her find a flower to heal a Galarian Rapidash.
