Lore
Biology
Raboot is 0.6 m tall and 9 kg. Its thick fur is grey-white on its head, hands and tail and mostly black on its body, with red on its arms, shoulders and front feet. A fur collar hides its neck and mouth, balaclava-style, and tufts on its belly look like jacket pockets. Its fire comes out through the yellow marks on its soles and forehead.
Behaviour
Raboot is proud of its kicks. When it trains them it tucks its arms into its fur, which stops it losing body heat. The Pokédex says its forehead can also heat up with the flames inside it, which gives it powerful headbutts.
Habitat
The Pokédex gives no habitat. In Scarlet and Violet it needs a trade in the base game, or can be evolved from Scorbunny in The Indigo Disk.
Powers
Raboot has Blaze, with Libero hidden. It uses Flame Charge, Double Kick and Headbutt, and learns Bounce, Counter and Double-Edge later. Base Speed 94 and Attack 86 make it a fast attacker.
Name origin
Raboot may combine 'rabbit' and 'foot', 'soot' or 'boot'. The Japanese name is Rabbifuto (ラビフット), which may combine 'rabbit' and 'foot'.
Design inspiration
Raboot appears to be a rabbit dressed as an athlete: Bulbapedia sees a tracksuit, a headband and a snood scarf in its look. These are fan readings.
Evolution notes
Raboot evolves from Scorbunny at level 16 and into Cinderace at level 35.
In the games
Raboot is the middle stage of the Galar Fire starter line, first appearing in Sword and Shield as Scorbunny's evolution. Bulbapedia lists it as unobtainable in Legends: Z-A.
In the anime
Goh's Raboot debuted in 'Kicking It from Here Into Tomorrow!', where it evolved from his Scorbunny and showed an aloof personality.
