How to play Higher or Lower

1. Pick a stat to play with: Speed, Attack, Defense, HP, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, base stat total, or Mixed for a different stat each time.
2. Two Pokémon appear. Tap the one with the higher value for that stat.
3. The game is endless. One wrong pick ends the run, and the pairs get closer together as your streak grows.

Scoring and XP

Each right pick earns XP, and the reward grows as the streak gets longer. Your longest streak is saved as your best.

Are these the real stats?

Yes. They are the base stats from the pokee.si Pokédex, the same numbers shown on every Pokémon page.

What happens on a tie?

Pairs are picked so the two values are different, so one answer is always right.

Can I play without paying?

Yes. Every game can be played in full in your browser, with no sign-up. pokee.si Plus, a membership a grown-up can buy, adds extras such as hints, longer timers and extra modes.

Is my progress saved?

Your XP, belts, badges and best scores are saved in this browser. If you want them on another device, you can make a trainer with just a nickname and a PIN (no email) and sign in there.
