A Wordle-style guessing game. There is one mystery Pokémon a day, the same for everyone.

How to play Pokédle

1. Type any Pokémon name as a guess. You have 8 guesses.
2. Each guess shows eight clues: type 1, type 2, generation, height, weight, colour, evolution stage and base stat total.
3. Green means a match. Yellow means close, or the right type in the other slot. Arrows point up or down towards the answer.
4. Solved it? Copy the emoji grid and share your result. There is also a Practice mode with a fresh Pokémon whenever you like.

Scoring and XP

Solving the daily puzzle earns 25 XP plus a bonus for every guess you did not need. Practice games earn a smaller reward.

Questions

When does the daily Pokémon change?

Once a day. Everyone gets the same Pokémon on the same day, so you can compare results with friends.

What counts as “close”?

Height within about 20%, weight within about 25%, base stat total within about 8%, and a generation one either side.

Can I play without paying?

Yes. Every game can be played in full in your browser, with no sign-up. pokee.si Plus, a membership a grown-up can buy, adds extras such as hints, longer timers and extra modes.

Is my progress saved?

Your XP, belts, badges and best scores are saved in this browser. If you want them on another device, you can make a trainer with just a nickname and a PIN (no email) and sign in there.
