Bounsweet

Bounsweet is a Grass-type Pokémon, the Fruit Pokémon, number 761 (#0761) in the National Pokédex. It was introduced in Generation 7 and comes from the Alola region. It is 0.3 m tall and weighs 3.2 kg.
Bounsweet smells so delicious that bird Pokémon keep swallowing it whole, and the Pokédex says it is not clever enough to care. The Fruit Pokémon is a tiny Grass type, and its sweat makes a juice once it is diluted.

Lore
Biology
Bounsweet is 0.3 m tall and weighs 3.2 kg. It is a small fuchsia fruit with a short white base, small round yellow eyes and a pair of tiny legs. A green calyx sits on its head, made of four leafy sections around a short stem. Its whole body gives off a sweet scent, and Bulbapedia says the scent is calming, so people in Alola keep it as a living air freshener.
Behaviour
When Bounsweet is attacked, the scent it gives off only calls more enemies, says the Shield entry. Bulbapedia says its fleeing looks more like a cheerful skip than a desperate escape, so nobody ever comes to help. It can spin its calyx to drive enemies off, though Bulbapedia says it gets dizzy afterwards and the Pokédex calls the attempt usually fruitless.
Habitat
The Pokédex gives no habitat. It lives in forests: Alola's Lush Jungle, parts of Galar's Wild Area, and Paldea's South and East Provinces, where Serebii says it can be found in trees.
Powers
Leaf Guard stops status conditions in harsh sunlight, Oblivious prevents infatuation, and its hidden Ability Sweet Veil stops it and its allies falling asleep. It learns Rapid Spin, Razor Leaf and Magical Leaf, and reaches Aromatic Mist at level 32. Its base stats are very low, so it is a Pokémon to train up rather than to battle with.
Name origin
Bounsweet may combine bounce and sweet. The Japanese name is Amakaji (アマカジ), which may blend amai (sweet), kajitsu (fruit) and ji (child).
Design inspiration
Bounsweet may take after the purple mangosteen, a tropical fruit with white flesh when cut open.
Evolution notes
Evolves into Steenee at level 18.
