Lore
Biology
Timburr is 0.6 m tall and 12.5 kg, a gray, muscular little Pokémon with a dark purple nose, bulbous lumps on its head and pink vein-like bands on its shoulders and thighs. It battles by swinging a length of lumber. The Pokédex says a Timburr that carries logs about three times its size is nearly ready to evolve.
Behaviour
Timburr turns up at building sites and helps with construction, always carrying squared logs and moving on to bigger ones as it grows. The anime Pokédex adds that it impulsively shows up to lend a hand.
Habitat
The Pokédex places it at building sites. In Black and White it can be found outside Pinwheel Forest and in Cold Storage.
Powers
Its Abilities are Guts and Sheer Force, with Iron Fist hidden. It learns Low Kick, Bulk Up, Rock Slide, Hammer Arm, Stone Edge and Superpower by level. Attack 80 is its best base stat, and it is mostly a young Pokémon waiting to grow into Gurdurr.
Name origin
Timburr is a corruption of 'timber' and may also nod to 'burly'. The Japanese name is Dokkorer (ドッコラー), possibly from dokkorasho (heave-ho) and perhaps the Greek dokári ('beam').
Design inspiration
Bulbapedia reads the Pokédex entries as pointing to construction workers as the model for the whole line, with its swollen-looking veins suggesting heavy labour. Its clownish nose may also nod to a carny. These are fan readings.
Evolution notes
Evolves into Gurdurr at level 25, and Gurdurr evolves into Conkeldurr when traded, with no item needed.
In the games
Timburr's biggest game role is in Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, where the Timburr Brothers are important characters who work for Gurdurr. It first appeared in Black and White. In Scarlet and Violet it is wild across Kitakami in The Teal Mask and in its 2-star Tera Raid Battles. Bulbapedia lists it as unobtainable in Legends: Z-A.
In the anime
Trip's Timburr debuted in 'Ash and Trip's Third Battle!', where it fought Oshawott and lost. In 'Ash and N: A Clash of Ideals!' and the two episodes after it, Cedric Juniper's assistants used several Timburr at the White Ruins until Colress turned them against their owners.

- In X, Y, Sun and Moon, Bulbapedia lists breeding as the way to get a Timburr (from Gurdurr or Conkeldurr), since wild ones were not in those games.
