The Pokédex you can hand to a child
Every one of the 1,025 names is spoken aloud. The facts are checked and written for kids. The games and lessons are built from the same data. Nothing tracks you, and no account is needed.

The story
pokee.si is a family project. A parent and their child kept running into the same problem: nobody at home could say the Pokémon names, and no Pokédex would say them out loud. So they built one.
Most of the code was written by AI tools, mainly Claude. The parent directs the work, reads what comes back and decides what ships. Their child tests it and says so when something looks wrong.
AI is fast, and it states wrong things with total confidence. So most of the work went into checking. The data runs through validators. The written Pokémon lore gets a second AI pass that reads every sentence, because a first pass cannot mark its own work. Every name clip was played back through a speech-recognition model to see whether it heard the right name. That caught 130 bad respellings, which were fixed.
It is not perfect. 11 names are still marked as low-confidence on their own pages, because official English media disagree about them or the name is a symbol. If you find a mistake, tell us and it gets fixed.
Facts and numbers

- 103 Articles. Written for kids, parents and players.
- 20 Interactive lessons. Pokémon School, from types to turn order.
- 17 Quiz packs. Ten questions each, built from the same data.
- 18 Games and game modes. Quick arcade games, a daily game and a story.
- 144 Dual-type pages. Every type pair that exists, with its weaknesses.
- 467 Did You Know facts. Each one machine-checked against the data.
- 3 Printable PDFs. A type chart, pronunciation cards and a maths sheet.
