Did Regigigas build the continents?

What the games say
Regigigas's entries are all legends. Diamond, Pearl and others say it towed continents with ropes. Platinum and Black and White say it made Pokémon that look like itself from a special ice mountain, rocks and magma. HeartGold and SoulSilver say it shaped Regirock, Regice and Registeel from clay, ice and magma.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus says the people of Hisui tell of it pulling landmasses together and tying them with rope to make the region. A researcher in that game says he has his doubts, though the story could hold a shred of truth. Shield says legends of Regigigas making other Pokémon exist all over the world.
What fans think
Fans like the idea that the three Regis were made from the same pieces of the world that Regigigas moved. That is a fan idea, but it is neat.
"The Regis" is a fan name for Regirock, Regice and Registeel together.

Open. It is a legend, and the games present it as one. Regirock's own entries make the puzzle better: one says its rocks come from many different places, and FireRed and LeafGreen say there is no sign of a brain or a heart.
