Regidrago

Regidrago is a Dragon-type Pokémon, the Dragon Orb Pokémon, number 895 (#0895) in the National Pokédex. It was introduced in Generation 8 and comes from the Galar region. It is 2.1 m tall and weighs 200 kg.
Regidrago is the Dragon Orb Pokémon, a golem of crystallised dragon energy whose arms form a dragon's head. The Pokédex credits it, on hearsay, with the might of every dragon Pokémon, and mentions an unproven theory that its arms were once an ancient dragon's head.

Lore
Biology
Regidrago is a dark red golem, 2.1 m tall and 200 kg, built from crystallised dragon energy that is densest at its core. Its right arm is shaped like a dragon's upper jaw, horns and eye sockets included, and its left like a lower jaw; Bulbapedia says it joins them into a mouth to fire dragon energy. A face of seven blue dots sits on its body, and two red wing-like spikes behind it are not used for flying, as Regidrago can simply float.
Behaviour
Legend says Regigigas used up its crystals once Regidrago's head was done, leaving the rest unfinished, and that ancient people sealed it away, fearing the damage a completed Regidrago could cause. Bulbapedia notes it was once worshipped before it was feared.
Habitat
The Pokédex gives no habitat. It is found in the Split-Decision Ruins of The Crown Tundra, and in Scarlet and Violet it arrives from Pokémon HOME or an event.
Powers
Its Ability is Dragon's Maw, which powers up Dragon moves, and Bulbapedia says no other Pokémon can have it. Its signature move, Dragon Energy, is also unique to it. It also learns Dragon Claw, Dragon Dance, Crunch, Hammer Arm and Twister. With 200 base HP and 100 each in Attack and Special Attack it is a bulky mixed attacker, though its Defense and Special Defense are only 50.
Name origin
Regidrago may combine regis, Latin for 'royal', with 'dragon'. The Japanese name is Regidorago (レジドラゴ).
Design inspiration
Regidrago appears to be a dragon's head together with the crystal ball or pearl that Asian dragons are often shown holding. Bulbapedia suggests that, among the five giants, it may stand for the Middle Ages, famous for its dragon legends, or for the Mesozoic, with its crystallised dragon energy a vague nod to fossil fuels. These are fan readings.
In the games
Regidrago is the second of two giants in the Split-Decision Ruins of which you may take only one, and it first appeared in Sword and Shield's The Crown Tundra expansion. It is not available in Legends: Z-A.
In the anime
Regidrago debuted in 'Chasing to the Finish!', where Gary caught one during a Project Mew Trial Mission.
