Generation 6 · Kalos

How to pronounce every Gen 6 Pokémon name

Generation 6 is the Kalos generation: 72 Pokémon, numbers 650 to 721 in the National Pokédex.

66 of the 72 respellings follow English official media or a dictionary, and 6 are our best guess, worked out from the parts of the name because we found no English source that says them out loud. 7 names have medium confidence, usually because English media do not all say it the same way; the note under the name says how.

The Pokémon Company has corrected 4 names from this generation at its own events: Aegislash, Dragalge, Quilladin and Vivillon. A name that starts with X starts with a Z sound: Xerneas is ZUR-nee-ahs.

Capital letters mark the loud syllable: PEE-kuh-choo means the PEE gets the push.
