Generation 2 · Johto

How to pronounce every Gen 2 Pokémon name

Generation 2 is the Johto generation: 100 Pokémon, numbers 152 to 251 in the National Pokédex.

All 100 respellings below follow how English official media say the names. 5 names have medium confidence, usually because English media do not all say it the same way; the note under the name says how.

A hyphen in a name is not pronounced: Ho-Oh is HOH-oh. A name that starts with X starts with a Z sound: Xatu is ZAH-too.

Capital letters mark the loud syllable: PEE-kuh-choo means the PEE gets the push.
