Generation 3 · Hoenn

How to pronounce every Gen 3 Pokémon name

Generation 3 is the Hoenn generation: 135 Pokémon, numbers 252 to 386 in the National Pokédex.

All 135 respellings below follow how English official media say the names. 18 names have medium confidence, usually because English media do not all say it the same way; the note under the name says how.

The Pokémon Company has corrected 5 names from this generation at its own events: Chimecho, Illumise, Numel, Rayquaza and Tropius.

Capital letters mark the loud syllable: PEE-kuh-choo means the PEE gets the push.
